Traveling to the Isle Of Lewis:
By Sea
You can travel from Ullapool on the Scottish mainland to Stornoway in less than 3 hours or alternatively you can choose the shorter crossing (1hr 40mins) from Uig on Skye to Tarbert on Harris.
By Air
Stornoway is connected to the mainland by flights to all major Scottish airports includiing Inverness, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Flights can also be arranged between most hebrides islands.
Getting to Tigh Aonghais:
Tigh Aonghais is situated in the village of Lower Bayble (Pabail Iarach) in the District of Point.
Arriving by ferry
As you leave the ferry terminal turn left following the Brocair (Broker) A866 sign, take the second exit at the first roundabout then go straight though the next two roundabouts, follow the road for the next 5 miles, you will pass a football pitch on your right hand side, then after approximately 1 mile you will see the road sign" Pabail Uarach" turn right here, passing Bayble school, continue along this road until you come to the crossroads, go right across the little bridge and Tigh Aonghais is the first on the left.
Arriving by plane
As you leave the airport turn left at the main road, follow the sign Brocair (Broker) A866 after 2 miles you will pass the football pitch on your right hand side, then follow the above directions.
Buses, taxis and self-drive car hire is available.
